All 84 crew members aboard the oil rig Ocean Ranger died when the rig capsized and sank in a storm 175 nautical miles off St. John's, Newfoundland. Halifax Rescue Coordinator Centre spokesman Lieutenant Commander Doug Caie said they found some debris from the wreck.
