Three MPs went to Baghdad in late November to argue for the release of Canadians held hostage by Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. Iraq agreed to free only seven -- five men and a married couple. Tory Bob Corbett, Liberal Lloyd Axworthy and New Democrat Svend Robinson left claiming no victory. Their disappointment at not securing the release of all 45 Canadians was echoed by three of the men who were now free to go home.
