Four Canadian pilots made history January 24th, flying the country's first offensive air mission since the Korean War. Their job was to sweep the skies ahead of coalition bombers flying into Iraq. Captain Jeff Tait of Richmond, BC, said he concentrated on nothing but the mission. There was no ground fire and no Iraqi planes encountered during the mission.
