Broadcast journalist Barbara Frum died of complications from leukemia shortly after midnight in Toronto on March 26. She was 54. For 10 years on radio on "As It Happens," and for 10 years on "The Journal," Frum was a T-V personality known across the country. Friend and fellow broadcast journalist Robert Fulford said Frum set journalistic standards that may never be exceeded.
