Sue Rodriguez resumed a legal battle to win the right to end her life. The Victoria woman asked the BC Court of Appeal to overturn a BC Supreme Court ruling that denied her bid for a doctor-assisted suicide. Rodriguez, who suffered from Lou Gehrig's disease, said she felt strong enough to continue her battle. (The BC Supreme Court, in a split decision, turned down Rodriquez's appeal. She took her case to the Supreme Court of Canada. It too rejected her appeal.)
