Seven people from Manitoba died when their plane crashed in Northern Ontario. The dead included three members of Manitoba reserves and four people from Winnipeg, including the flight crew. Before the flight took off from Sandy Lake, Ontario, 23 passengers got off. Sandy Lake councilor Nick Day said a lot of the lucky ones took the news of the crash really hard.
