After a long battle with ALS, Sue Rodriguez died in Victoria on February 12th. Police described the death as an assisted suicide. The 43-year-old Rodriguez had taken her fight for assisted suicide into court three times. Rodriguez once told an interviewer she didn't think there was anything to set her apart from others with terminal diseases. And she said she didn't set out to become a national figure by fighting for a physician-assisted suicide.
