The Krever Commission heard from many people in 1994, but few had the impact of Randy Conners. The Halifax man and his wife Janet shared their AIDS nightmare with the federal inquiry into Canada's tainted blood supply. Conners, a hemophiliac who contracted HIV through tainted blood in the early 1980's, said he was mad as hell and that those who were responsible for allowing Canadians to receive tainted blood should be jailed. Randy Conners died September 13, 1994.
