Edmonton photographer Con Boland said he was dumbfounded by the verdict in the Marilyn Tan trial. Tan was found guilty of uttering a threat, but she was acquitted of injecting her former lover with HIV-tainted blood during a session of sadomasochistic sex because the judge ruled Boland and the key Crown witness were not credible. Boland said the justice system failed.
