Canadian Airlines International found itself in a fight for its life. Four of the airlines' six unions said they would take a rescue plan to their members for a vote. The two unions representing flight attendants (CUPE) and reservation agents (CAW) said no. But Canadian Airlines President Kevin Benson said he was confident they would come on board in time to present a restructuring proposal to the airlines' creditors.
