After two weeks on the picket line, three of the five unions in the Ontario Teachers Federation announced their members were going back to work. But Women's Teachers Federation President Marat Sadem Thompson said it did not mean the protest against Bill 160 and the Mike Harris government was over. (The two other unions representing Catholic and non-francophone high school teachers decided in the following days that they too would go back to the classroom.)
