Seven years after being driven from office in disgrace, former BC premier Bill Vander Zalm stepped back into the political spotlight. He became de facto leader of the BC Reform Party June 7th after he was elected president and the incumbent leader was stripped of his title. The former Socred premier said he wanted all free enterprise supporters in the province to discuss a new alliance.
