Representatives of the Nisga'a and federal and BC governments shook hands July 15th on a deal giving the natives 19-hundred square kilometers of the Nass Valley and 190 million dollars. Nisga's Tribal Council president Joe Gosnel said BC's first modern-day aboriginal treaty would give his people opportunities other generations never had.
