Swissair Flight 111 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off Nova Scotia on Sept. 2, killing all 229 people on board. The province's chief medical officer, Dr. John Butt, wouldn't say what condition the bodies were in but he suggested many victims possibly died on impact.
