A 24-year-old Alberta man who escaped a slaughter of foreign tourists in Uganda arrived in Calgary in March. Mitchell Keiver (KEE'-VUR) said it was a terrifying experience that he won't forget. Keiver and a group of other tourists were taken captive by Rwandan Hutu rebels. He was released along with some others, but eight people were hacked to death.
