A Saskatchewan boy who tried to fight cancer his own way died at age 13. Tyrell Dueck of Martensville passed away in Saskatoon on July 1. Christine Crozon was helping to raise money for Tyrell's alternative treatments. Tyrell and his parents refused chemotherapy and amputation to treat a tumor on his leg, opting instead for herbal and alternative remedies.
