Sears Canada announced on Oct. 4 that it was buying more Eaton's stores -- including the flagship store in downtown Toronto. At a Toronto news conference, Sears CEO Paul Walters said deciding to keep the Eaton name on the stores was a no-brainer. Previously, Sears bought 13 other Eaton stores which were to be converted to the Sears label. The transactions totaled 60-million dollars in cash.
