Dr. Wilbert Keon said he would return as head of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. The noted surgeon and Conservative Senator quit the institute in December 1999 after he was caught with an undercover police officer posing as a prostitute. On Jan. 13th, the institutes' board of directors called for Keon to resume his leadership. Keon said he was deeply moved by the board's support.
