Twelve people were killed when a tornado ripped through the Pine Lake region in Alberta, 60 km south of Red Deer. More than 50 others were injured when the twister tore through a resort area. Oliver Mahoney, who was in his trailer at Pine Lake, said the twister came up very quickly.
