The man who was once Ontario's lone Conservative MP became the Canadian Alliance's sole Member of Parliament from that province. Jim Jones, the MP for Markham, north of Toronto, said he made the move only after talking to his constituents. Jone's defection brought the Alliance up to 57 members in the House of Commons.
