Charges were laid in November in the abduction and death of a 10-year-old Vancouver area girl. Heather Thomas was taken October 1st while playing outside her father's apartment complex. Three weeks later, her body was found in a lake 45-kilometres away. RCMP Corporal Janice Armstrong announced 23-year-old Shane Ertmoed (ert'-mohd) was charged with murder.
