John Phillips, the driving force behind the 60's pop group "The Mamas and the Papas," died on March 18th. Canadian-born Denny Doherty said his former colleague was quite healthy during his 10 years with a transplanted liver after a long battle with alcohol and drugs. (Phillips was 65.)
