Protesters at the Summit of the Americas site in Quebec City were out in full force on April 20th. They threw hockey pucks, bottles, rocks, a metal barrier, and at least one smoke bomb at police. Canadian Press reporter Mike Omelus said riot police formed a line, and slowly moved toward the protesters. (Police held their ground where the fence was pushed in, as objects continued to be hurled at them and the air filled with smoke.)
