Angry health-care workers raised a ruckus outside the Nova Scotia legislature on June 19th. Premier John Hamm tried to address the crowd of two thousand, but was shouted down. The Premier had offered to withdraw Bill 68, but then said the unions had to accept the offer. The protesters wanted the province to reconsider and spend more money on health care.)
