Fires were burning in Genoa on July 21st as riot police battled with anti-globalization protesters at the G8 Summit in Genoa. Canadian Press reporter Terry Pedwell was there. (Pedwell said it appeared a couple of police officers were hurt by flying beer bottles and bricks which protesters were pulling up from the sidewalk. Crowds of on-lookers were also standing on the sidelines cheering the protesters on. Fire crews arrived on the scene after being delayed by protesters.)
