Canadian diver Blythe Hartley of North Vancouver, captured gold at the World Swimming Championships in Japan on July 23rd. It was Canada's first gold at the competition in Japan. The 19-year-old Hartley, who had been training in Calgary, said she didn't know she'd won until the marks were announced.
