The pilot credited with saving the lives of the passengers and crew of an Air Transat Airbus on August 24th said he was trained for the job -- but still surprised he had to do it. Robert Piche (roh-BAYR' PEE'-shay) told a Montreal news conference about what he did when a major fuel leak rendered his plane powerless. (The pilot said initially he thought he would have to land in the sea.)
