The founder of the Wendy's fast-food chain passed away on January 8th. Dave Thomas was 69. He lost his battle with cancer while at his Fort Lauderdale home. The senior vice-president of Wendy's Canada, Neil Lester said Thomas was a frequent visitor to Canada and enjoyed meeting employees at the chain's 336 outlets across the country.
