The father of six children killed in a house fire on northern Vancouver Island was charged on March 15th with six counts of first-degree murder. Fire swept through the Handel home in Quatsino, killing three boys and three girls, aged two to 11. RCMP Sergeant Grant Learned outlined the charges against 45-year-old Jay Handel.
