Prime Minister Chretien spoke about the situation in the Mideast while in Morocco. Chretien said it's time Israel pulled its troops out of Palestinian-ruled areas. The prime minister admitted an Israeli withdrawal would not guarantee an end to Palestinian suicide bombings. But Chretien said peace talks won't begin as long as Israeli troops occupy Palestinian territory.
