The Ontario government reacted to Part Two of the Walkerton water inquiry report. Justice Dennis O'Connor delivered the report May 23rd to the province's attorney general. Environment Minister Chris Stockwell said the Tories would move quickly to implement many of the recommendations. (The report estimated it would cost between 100 million and nearly 300 million dollars to implement the 93 recommendations for maintaining drinking water safety.)
