Rockabilly king Ronnie Hawkins was as irreverent as usual when he was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame. Hawkins called out, "hold all the girls back," as he took to the stage October 4th in Toronto's theatre district joking about his younger, hard-rocking days. During his remarks, Hawkins noted he'd spent 45 of his best years in Canada since moving here with his band, the Hawks, in the late 50's.
