The founders of one of Canada's most prominent entertainment companies were charged October 22nd with 19 counts of fraud. Former Livent owners Garth Drabinsky and Myron Gotlieb faced accusations of falsifying financial statements at their former theatre company. RCMP Inspector Craig Hannaford said investigators suspected the two former executives and others at the defunct company defrauded creditors and investors of about 500 million dollars.
