The man who commanded Canadian troops in Afghanistan said his personal experiences there will bring a new personal significance to Remembrance Day. Lieutenant-Colonel Pat Stogran headed troops in Afghanistan in April 2002 when four Canadian soldiers were killed and eight others wounded in a friendly fire incident.
