The wife and fiancé of two soldiers killed in Afghanistan laid wreaths at Remembrance Day ceremonies in Edmonton. Marley Leger, whose husband Marc died in a friendly fire incident, tearfully carried a wreath alongside another carried by Private Nathan Smith's fiancé, Jodi Carter. Alberta Lieutenant-Governor Lois Hole later embraced both women after making a plea for peace.
