Families of several Canadian victims of a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan went to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, hoping for some answers. They observed a military hearing in January involving two US pilots charged with involuntary manslaughter, assault and dereliction of duty. The purpose of the hearing was to determine if there were grounds to proceed to a full court martial. Marley Leger is the widow of Sergeant Marc Leger, one of the four Canadian soldiers killed by a bomb dropped from an American jet.
