An ambulance official said those caught in January 20th's avalanche in eastern BC were basically hit with a solid wall of snow. Revelstoke Ambulance Chief lan Stratham said seven people were hit by an avalanche 25 meters wide and 100 meters long, and were buried by up to five meters of snow.
