Thousands of people attended a memorial service in Calgary February 10th to honor seven local high school students killed in an avalanche in BC. The students from Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School died while back-country skiing near Revelstoke. The head of the school, Tony Macoun (muh-KOW'-uhn) told the service that the lives of the students were ended far too soon.
