An Alberta alderwoman who disappeared in the US last May accepted a deal that would see a charge of lying to police eventually dropped. Canadian Press reporter Carol Harrington said Dar Heatherington of Lethbridge pleaded not guilty when she appeared in a Great Falls, Montana court May 20th to face a misdemeanor charge of lying to a police officer about her three-day disappearance.
