Ontario extended its state of emergency through the week following a massive blackout August 14th. Ontario Premier Ernie Eves asked businesses to cut their energy use by 50 percent. Toronto residents John and Jaqueline Montgomery said they hoped all locals would be pitching in to help avert future blackouts.
