Montreal's Dorval International Airport was officially renamed after late prime minister Pierre Trudeau. Federal Transport Minister David Collenette was joined at September 9th's ceremony by Trudeau's sons, Justin and Sacha. Justin said renaming an airport after his father was appropriate. (Pierre Trudeau died September 28th, 2000, at age 80.)
