Police officers from across Canada and the US paid their last respects to a Mountie who was killed west of Edmonton. Canadian Press reporter Jim MacDonald attended the March 6th funeral of Corporal Jim Galloway, who was shot to death by a mentally ill man during a standoff in Spruce Grove on February 28th. (Galloway had been a dog handler with the RCMP for most of his 34-year career.)
