A March 19th ruling by Quebec's top court paved the way for gay marriages in the province. Sixty-two-year-old Michael Hendricks launched the legal battle to marry his 48-year-old partner Rene Leboeuf (le-BUFF'), almost six years ago. Hendricks said the ruling could have implications for gays right across Canada. (Quebec became the third province, after Ontario and BC, to declare same-sex marriages legal.)
