Princess Anne was in Saskatchewan June 5th to mark the 60th anniversary of D-Day. At a ceremony in Regina, the princess paid tribute to Canadian soldiers who fought and died on June 6th, 1944. (Members of the Royal Regina Rifles were among the first of the Canadian troops to hit the beaches at Normandy. Princess Anne is the regiment's colonel-in-chief.)
