A US fighter pilot who bombed Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan two years ago was found guilty of dereliction of duty. The families of the Canadian soldiers were not happy with the penalty given to Major Harry Schmidt. Schmidt received a written reprimand and was barred from flying for the US Air Force. Agatha Dyer, the mother of one of the dead soldiers, said the deaths were worth more than the six-thousand-dollars in pay Schmidt would forfeit.
