Gay rights groups in Nova Scotia hailed a provincial Supreme Court decision September 24th to allow same-sex marriages. Jay Thordarson (THORE'-der-sen) who chairs Halifax Pride, said the right should be there for those who choose to marry. (Nova Scotia became the sixth province or territory in the country to allow same-sex marriages.)
