The federal government reintroduced a bill to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana. The proposed law introduced in the Commons November 1st was the same as previous legislation that died when the June election was called. Conservative justice critic Vic Toews (TAYVZ) predicted the bill would hurt Canada-US relations.
