Residents in most of Atlantic Canada were digging out of massive snowdrifts January 24th. The region was hit by high winds and as much as 60 centimeters of snow. Tourists Adam and Kate Rooke from Britain were in awe as they wandered the streets of Halifax. (The weather created whiteout conditions on highways in Nova Scotia, PEI and southeastern New Brunswick.)
