Emotions spilled over October 27th at a northern Ontario reserve, where residents blasted governments for delays in dealing with a water contamination crisis. Henry Koosees (KOO'-sees) told a community meeting that governments waited too long to help out what he called Third World conditions in Kashechewan (ka-SESH'-a-wan). (Hundreds of residents from the reserve were evacuated two weeks after deadly E-coli was discovered in drinking water.)
