The BC ferry Queen of the North sank March 22nd in Wright Sound after going off course and hitting a rock off Gil Island, 135 kilometers southeast of Prince Rupert, BC. All but two of 101 passengers and crew escaped. Nicole Robinson -- a receptionist at the nursing station in Hartley Bay -- spoke with some of those who were rescued. (The ferry was sailing from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy.)
